1. Introduction
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the services provided by AA BOILERS LTD ("AA BOILERS") to you, the customer ("Customer").
2. Estimates and Pricing
- AA BOILERS may provide written estimates for work. Estimates are valid for 28 days.
- We have a standard Rate Card for hourly rates and a minimum charge applies.
- Prices may change due to unforeseen circumstances or inaccurate information provided by the customer.
- Collection fees apply to materials not readily available.
3. Payment
- Non-account customers must pay upon completion of the work.
- Account customers receive invoices within 14 days of completion and payment is due within 30 days.
- Charges apply for late payments.
- AA BOILERS may withhold certificates or guarantees until full payment is received.
4. The Work
- Descriptions, illustrations, etc., are for general information only and do not form part of the Contract.
5. Commencement and Completion Dates
- Dates for commencement and completion are estimates only. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances.
6. Permits, Licenses, Access
- The Customer is responsible for obtaining necessary permits and licenses for the work.
- The Customer must provide clear access to the work area and arrange for any required traffic control.
- The Customer must ensure a safe working environment for AA BOILERS' employees.
- The Customer must provide necessary power and clean water supply.
7. Frozen Pipes and Waste Removal
- AA BOILERS is not liable for damage caused by frozen pipes or blockages.
- The Customer is responsible for removing waste materials after the work is completed (unless otherwise agreed).
8. Force Majeure
- AA BOILERS is not liable for delays or cancellation of work due to events beyond their control, such as strikes or acts of God.
9. Inspection and Complaints
- The Customer must inspect the completed work and notify AA BOILERS of any issues within 7 days.
- AA BOILERS will then address any agreed-upon defects.
- If the Customer involves a third-party contractor before contacting AA BOILERS, they will be responsible for the costs.
10. Warranty and Liability
- AA BOILERS warrants to repair or make good any defects within 12 months of completion, subject to certain exclusions.
- AA BOILERS' liability is limited to repairing defects, personal injury due to negligence, and reasonable repair costs for damage caused by negligence.
- AA BOILERS excludes liability for various situations, such as faulty workmanship by the Customer or defects in parts provided by the manufacturer.
11. Customer Liability
- The Customer is liable for any loss or damage resulting from their failure to fulfil their obligations.
- The Customer is responsible for the safety of AA BOILERS' equipment and indemnifies AA BOILERS for any loss, theft, or damage.
12. Cancellation
- The Customer may cancel the Contract with a 14-day cooling-off period for planned non-emergency work exceeding £1,000 (written estimate accepted).
- Cancellation fees apply based on the timing of the cancellation.
13. General
- These Terms supersede any other terms or conditions.
- The entire agreement between AA BOILERS and the Customer is contained in these Terms.
- Any changes to the Contract must be made in writing.
